  • "We, the People..." Yes, We the People does include the very vocal (and often quite rude) minority of people who listen to Glenn and Rush and watch FOX News. They have every right to be vocal (I suspect there's not a right to be rude) -- that is what democracy is about.

  • "Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't there laws in effect in our country that limits monopolies? Wouldn't a Government run health plan be considered a monopoly?" A monopoly is the only show on the road. The public option is one choice of many.

  • I need to add -- less than half of the people who voted, voted for Christie. That may well reflect that less than half of the people in NJ wanted him for governor. Not even a majority, much less a ringing victory.

  • This is terrible news. I have not been a great fan of Jon Corzine, with his connections to the business and financial industries, but I have to admit that he has done as good a job as could be done under the current economic circumstances.
